These have a nice fit overall, great traction for rugby, and the way the tongue attached to the interior is very comfortable. However there's a small padded swell that goes around the ankles/back of the heel. This rubs pretty unpleasantly until you get some more flexion in the boots. Thicker socks/moleskin patches can help but I think I'd prefer the swell just wasn't there at all. I have similar Canterbury boots with metal studs and those had no problems.
