Buy them!I had been wanting my own pair of real converse since I was a kid. I was really excited to get these, and they are cute. They are not much different than the normal fit, but enough so to not make you feel like you're wearing clown shoes. However, I normally wear a size 8.5, sized a half-size up because of other reviews, and they are still tight enough to be a bit uncomfortable. Toes slightly curled, with the back rubbing my heal raw, I couldn't wait to get home and take these off. Unfortunately, my second time wearing them, I dropped a jar of pizza sauce at the store and it splattered all over my new shoes. So I had no choice but to put them in the washer, since they are canvas and would not wipe clean. I put them in the dryer for just a little bit to give them a head start on the drying and this was SUCH a bad idea. The canvas shrunk big time, and the shoe souls curled up. My already-too-tight size 9s are now even tighter. I would say (before I shrunk them) that the 9s fit like an 8. Mine now fit like a 7.5, or maybe 7. Moral of the story... size up a FULL size, and if you have to wash these, let them air dry and avoid the dryer at all costs. These shoes were $25 more expensive than the unisex with the cheapest feeling material. The weight of this product was light as a feather and felt like the material was extremely thin and cheap AND they charged 90 dollars for this pair of shoes. These should be sold for $35 at the most. They feel like 12 dollar canvas shoes from Payless.I ordered 6 uk, based on the size chart that says it corresponds to an 8 US. Label inside the shoe says 6uk corresponds to an 8.5 U.S. Other reviews said that they run small so I had already ordered half size more. I actually wear a U.S. 7.5. The sneakers are lovely, very feminine, even for skirts. I really like them l. I am going to wear them a little loose since this was an international purchase it is expensive for me to return them (To make it worst: I ordered them in black too in the incorrect size). A size 8 US would have been perfect for me at the time I ordered the size 8 US was out of stock. Amazon, please review your size chart. I am giving 4 stars to the product. The fifth star corresponds to the size chart.I have owned Chucks for years, decades even. My pair worked a hole in the sole so I had to get new ones. That said, I could not find a regular pair of women's Converse, so I bought the "dainty" style. I read the reviews and everyone seemed to say they fit the same. I received them today, immediately tried one on (ironically while wearing the old pair on my other foot) and they are NARROW! (Yes I got my same size and in M). To make matters worse, my dog went to sniff them and got them dirty so now I can't even return them.) I wear a 7 in regular Chucks marked "women" on the tag and these are too narrow to be comfortable. Boo! I am not a dainty gal apparently.I’ve always wanted a pair of Converses but I have hated how they look on my foot. They make my feet look like clown feet and always look so chunky. So when I found the Dainty style in store, I had to try them on. They looked just the why I wanted Converses to, but unfortunately the store didn’t have the color I wanted in my size. So I came home and searched online for them. Thankfully Amazon had them! I’m a 7.5, and I ordered a 7. They fit great. They can add a little personality to any look/outfit. They’re great. If you’re like me, and want Converses but don’t like how the typical Converses look on your feet, give these a shot! They are just like the picture with the blue and red lines (I was worried because some people said they send only the ones with the black stripes, but they are just like the picture) this dainty model is narrow, I already had a pair and although I love the way they look (much better than the regular ones) they give me blisters when walking too much, thought sizing half size up will help but I think it won't and they look a little big on me (7.5) prefer how the 7 look even though they give me blistersSo a lot of the reviews said to get the half size up, but I find they actually fit true to size. I am normally a 7.5, but ordered the 8 and they're probably a half size too big. But I like to wear socks with my shoes, and I put insoles in them for support, so now they fit pretty well. Although, I think I'd prefer them to be just a little smaller. I'd say they fit true to size. I also saw some of the reviewers saying they received the shoes without the red and black stripes, and mine came with that thankfully. They're super cute!I love converse as a brand already (this pair is now my third); they are very durable and long lasting. I picked these for the colour as I wanted ones a bit more summery and am really pleased with them (though will be an effort to keep them white). They have rubbed the back of my heel slightly (but shoes always tend to rub me), once worn in a little they get more comfortable. As typical with converse, they have two small holes in the side which keeps them aired.I should have read the description more carefully as it does say ‘dainty’ but I hadn’t realised just how slim fitting they’d be. They made my feet look deformed so had to go back which unfortunately cost me another £8.60 for Special Delivery - not pleased.I'm a 6 and I ordered a 6. They are narrow but that is the style. I find converse rather heavy and bulky so I stick to these dainty ox styles. They are very difficult to find in stores. Got for a bargain price.Ordered size 5.5 came as size 6 on box, sent them back as too big and ordered size 5 instead, when arrived a week later too small, they have the sizing all wrong. Did not want to send them back again for second time, so give too my daughter.Lovely looking but very narrow - I ordered a size up after reading reviews which fitted width wise but was far too long so then ordered my usual size but they are so uncomfortable as so narrow - only order if you have narrow feet
