It is the crowning touch, the final piece of decoration that captures the spirit of family and togetherness that is such a big part of Christmas decorating. Designer Fleming Eskildsen was a top designer with Georg Jensen for 56 years. He began as an apprentice in 1952 and was a lifelong devotee of classic Scandinavian design. The star has a spiral attachment so that it can be fixed atop the tree but also comes with a red silk ribbon in case you prefer to hang it like a regular ornament.
